Starbucks BOGO??

My husband bought a watch battery at Target yesterday and got a coupon for a BOGO drink at Starbucks.  Did the battery trigger that?  Is that random?  What else can I buy to get free Starbucks???  (LOVE Starbucks -- DH surprised me at work with a yummy drink!)
